- We are a global leader in CX and digital transformation, seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our global engineering team. You will lead complex e-commerce implementations across core infrastructure, dedicated cloud setups, and modern digital experience ecosystems (App Builder, Edge Delivery Services, API Mesh, and GraphQL integrations).
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead discovery and design sessions to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Write clean, modular, extensible PHP code following platform best practices.
- Develop custom modules, service contracts, and backend API integrations.
- Build cloud-native microservices using App Builder and manage federated APIs via API Mesh.
- Profile and tune performance across PHP, MySQL queries, and caching layers (Redis, Varnish).
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers to improve technical and troubleshooting skills.
- **Required Qualifications:**
- 5 to 7+ years of backend development experience with Magento 2.x and PHP 7 or 8.
- Certified Backend Expert (or ready to obtain within 90 days).
- Mastery of Magento architecture (Dependency Injection, EAV, service contracts, indexing).
- Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, App Builder, EDS, and API Mesh.
- Proficient with AWS or Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, OpenSearch, and RabbitMQ.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and distributed global team collaboration skills.
