The Product Governance and IPR team builds the systems that keep listings authentic, compliant, and accurately presented, and that keep intellectual property respected across the marketplace.
• Our work spans two connected areas. Product governance covers detecting counterfeit, prohibited, and low-quality listings, enforcing product information quality, and meeting regulatory requirements across global markets. IP protection covers proactive infringement detection, rights-holder tooling, and notice-and-takedown workflows aligned with legal frameworks including the DMCA and the

• Together, these systems screen hundreds of millions of listings using rule engines, ML models, and LLM-based review. You will build the systems that keep the marketplace trustworthy, protecting buyers from counterfeits, respecting IP rights, and meeting regulatory requirements across global markets. TikTok Shop is a content e-Commerce business utilising international short video products as carriers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core systems of the human moderation platform within TikTok Shop governance, including review configuration and task scheduling. - Participate in the platform architecture upgrade and business scenario migration, delivering modules from design through launch.
• Improve system stability and engineering efficiency through automation and tooling. - Apply AI coding tools in development, testing and troubleshooting workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
