  • **Responsibilities:**
  • Develop data applications and services for Cost Efficiency, including cost analysis, capital loss prevention and merchant cost insights;
  • Build and optimise data pipelines and services for the Promotion Data Platform, ensuring data accuracy, stability and scalability;
  • Analyse business and technical requirements carefully to solve challenging problems;
  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews;
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers, data scientists and business owners in the team to ensure timely delivery of business requirements.
  • **Qualifications**
  • Minimum Qualification(s):
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline;
  • Strong software programming capabilities, with good code design and coding style;
  • Familiarity with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, Java or C++;
  • Pragmatic understanding of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, databases and distributed systems.
  • **Preferred Qualification(s):**
  • Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of product ownership and creative problem-solving;
  • Data-driven and interested in e-commerce, marketing, or user growth;
  • Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast-moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment;
  • Experienced in data engineering and familiar with online/offline data pipeline development; experience with React or LLM applications is a plus.
